This page covers the breakpet.app website only. The privacy of the Pati and Hav apps themselves is described in the separate app privacy policy.
1. Who is responsible
The website is operated by Can Akarsu (BreakPet), who is the data controller for the processing described here. Contact: thebreakpet@gmail.com.
2. What this website does not do
- No user accounts, no sign-in, no newsletter.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, no social-media plug-ins that load on their own.
- No cookies are set by this website. The language you pick may be remembered in your browser's local storage; it never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
- No external fonts or scripts are loaded; everything the page needs is served from this website.
3. Hosting and server logs
To deliver the pages, the hosting provider's servers necessarily receive technical connection data such as your IP address, the date and time, the requested page, your browser's user agent and the referring page. The hosting provider processes this data to deliver and secure the service and keeps it only for a limited period under its own policies. We do not combine it with other data and we do not use it to identify you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
4. YouTube videos
Short videos are shown as still images and small previews served from this website. YouTube is contacted only when you press play on a video. The player is embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). From that moment, Google/YouTube receives data such as your IP address and may use cookies or similar technologies under Google's privacy policy. If you do not press play, no connection to YouTube is made. Legal basis: your action of starting the video (consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)).
5. Contacting us
The website has no contact form. You can write to us at thebreakpet@gmail.com. If you do, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to read and answer your message and to improve our apps, keep it only as long as needed for that, and never sell or share it. Emails are delivered through your and our email providers (our address is hosted by Google Gmail). Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in replying (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f)).
6. Links to other websites
The website links to the App Store, Microsoft Store, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. These links open the other service only when you click them; nothing is loaded from them beforehand. Their own privacy policies and terms apply there.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to ask whether we process data about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Under Turkish law (KVKK Art. 11) you also have the rights listed there. To use any of these rights, email thebreakpet@gmail.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey: the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK; in the EU: the authority of your country).
8. Children
The website is suitable for everyone and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a child has sent us a message, a parent can ask us to delete it.

- Content and intellectual property: the texts, images, videos, characters (Pati, Hav and their worlds), logos and code of this website belong to Can Akarsu unless stated otherwise. You may share links to the website and its videos. Copying, modifying or republishing the content for commercial use requires prior written permission.
- Trademarks: Mac, Touch ID and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Windows and Microsoft Store are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC, Instagram of Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok of ByteDance Ltd. Their use here does not imply endorsement.
- Information only: the website describes the apps for information. Features, availability and prices may change; the store listing at the time of download is decisive. Purchases are made in and governed by the App Store or Microsoft Store.
- No health advice: the apps and this website encourage regular breaks but do not give medical advice. If you have health concerns, ask a professional.
- Availability and liability: we try to keep the website correct and available but cannot guarantee it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the website; liability for intent and gross negligence and mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
